The young scout known among his people as Dandelion the Hare has found himself in the middle of a great mystery.
He practices the ways of the scout, as did his father, his father's father and many of his father's brothers. This line of scouts has passed on a secret knowledge of some Fourth World technology, including bits of the ancient language Ehngalees.
