People in the Fifth World do not generally shy away from recognizing that their subjective experience provides them with the only experience of the universe they’ll ever have. None of the Axes Mundi around the Fifth World stand at the center of the universe in any objective, scientific way, of course, but they do form the centers of the universe in each family’s own life. For each one, their territory in many ways really makes up the whole world — or the whole world that matters. What do they place at the center of that?
