Antarctica
The continent of Antarctica lies at the south pole, entirely within the southern hemisphere, but straddling the eastern and western hemispheres. Once covered in ice, the drastically changed climate of the Fifth World has melted those glaciers, leaving behind a continent of grasslands and bushes that spends half the year in perpetual day, and half the year in an interminable night.
