Cultivation
Cultivation refers broadly to encouraging the regrowth of plants that you favor, either for food or for other resources. Civilization grew based on a very particular type of cultivation called agriculture, which became untenable after its collapse. Other forms of cultivation, however — often called gardening — continue to play an important role in the Fifth World.
