Three Myland

Three Myland sits on an island in the Susquehanna River. The ancients knew it as Three Mile Island, but locals clipped the name over time. A nuclear power plant built here nearly melted down. Because of the accident, they removed the nuclear waste at the site well before civilization collapsed, though it still had a certain hold on the imagination. Some of the early Vulture Priests sought it out to establish a library and scriptorium there. Because it does not house any waste, priests at Three Myland live much longer than priests at other temples, and can dedicate their lives to copying ancient technical manuals and physics texts. Other temples can send word to Three Myland when they face unusual circumstances, and the priests there may have the resources to find an answer.
