Resolution Stage
The resolution stage gives us the cyclic principle, “Weave a wide web of relationships.” In the introduction stage, we saw the web of relationship damaged by division. In the development stage, we saw what kept us from healing this rift. In the contrast stage, we introduced new elements to break that impasse. In this stage, those new elements allow us to heal that original rift. We end with a new web of relationship. It doesn’t look the same as it did in the beginning, but we have repaired the rift and reintegrated the world into a web of kinship and meaning.
After the resolution stage, the tale or arc of the saga ends.
#Elderhood
Elders in the Fifth World serve as living repositories of the community’s knowledge and wisdom. They’ve had a lifetime to master animism as a skill and learn the centrality of relationship. Their vast experience helps elders make connections that others would miss, allowing them to weave a wide web of relationships at any time.
#Looming questions
You can only answer a looming question in the resolution stage. That means during the resolution stage of a tale, or at any point in a tale that takes place in the resolution stage of a saga. It also means that an elder has the special ability to answer a looming question at any time.
